SPEAKOUTU MENTAL HEALTH program

Young people have experienced a number of pandemic-related consequences, such as closures of schools, universities and loss of income that have contributed to poor mental health. However, mental health is the least prioritized amongst health conditions in Uganda. The available services are also too expensive for young people to afford. Under speakoutu program, Inspire Youth For Development (IYFD) is providing free, convenient and anonymous counselling services to young people using chat and email. Young people are also able to access   information on wide range of mental health conditions like anxiety and depression.
